The Technology Configuration Management Tools requirements may change as the engagement evolves. The Configuration Manager
must constantly evaluate the Technology Configuration Management Tools to validate if they still fulfill the needs of the
engagement. In case there is a need for an additional feature or a change in the tools, the Configuration Manager should
take that up through the Change Management process. This is applicable to repositories as well as the CMDB. The Asset
Manager must also review the asset management tools and update the same.
The Technology Asset And Configuration Management Plan must be updated with the changes in the technology configuration
management system.
